Who we are

The Mental Fitness Clubs is the brainchild of Adina Weis, MD, a neuroradiologist who, after her father’s passing, was seeking tools to both strengthen her mindset and calm her racing thoughts, and to better cope with the stressors of everyday life. Dr. Weis knew meditation and breathwork could help, but didn’t know which type would best address her needs. This led her to explore the wide variety of meditation and breathwork techniques and to discover that certain types were best suited for certain conditions. From this research, Dr. Weis created the unique protocols utilized at the Mental Fitness Clubs: a combination of meditation, breathwork, and coaching tools. Knowing she was more likely to do these practices if she had a community to practice with, Dr. Weis created the Mental Fitness Clubs: an inviting space to strengthen the mind, in community with others.
